Cody Rhodes is often referred to as the John Cena of the current generation. Apart from being a highly charismatic babyface and the face of the company, he is also well-regarded for his interactions with his fans. The 39-year-old recently won hearts once again after fulfilling a young fan’s wish following the latest episode of Raw.
A fan had tweeted at Cody Rhodes, informing him that they had front-row seats for the latest episode of Raw. Furthermore, their daughter made a special sign for the American Nightmare, and she wanted to meet her hero. The 2x Royal Rumble winner later posted a photo of himself with the little girl on his shoulder while standing in the middle of the ring after the show had gone off the air.
This is not the first time that Rhodes has done something similar. During another post-Raw appearance, he noticed a little boy dressed up just like the WWE Undisputed Champion himself and even donned his entrance mask. He got the boy into the ring, carried him on his shoulders, and also gifted him a signed belt.
Found ya 😉❤️

Cody Rhodes defeats Carmelo Hayes in a dark match after Raw goes off the air
After the latest episode of Raw went off the air, Cody Rhodes faced Carmelo Hayes in a dark match for the WWE Undisputed Championship. This was their seventh-ever match-up, including both televised and non-televised events. Just like all their bouts before this, the American Nightmare came out on top and successfully retained his title.

These two superstars do have some history on the main roster. When Carmelo Hayes first got drafted to the blue brand, he called his shot against Rhodes and faced him in the main event of that episode. Although he ended up losing that match, it was still a great showing for the rookie.

Things got even more heated a few weeks ago when Raw took place in Rhodes’ hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. After the show ended, Hayes ambushed the WWE Undisputed Champion while he was talking to the live crowd. However, the 39-year-old was able to recover. He followed it up by hitting a Cross Rhodes and sending his rival through a table with a powerbomb.
