Cody Rhodes graced the NXT stage this week. He went on to make a massive announcement regarding the title of the brand. However, that was not the only segment he was involved in. In a backstage interaction, the American Nightmare gifted his iconic prop to popular NXT star, Jacy Jayne.

The Undisputed Champion took some time out of his busy schedule to have this wholesome interaction with Jacy Jayne. He met her and stated that he had something for her. The 28-year-old star looked surprised before the SmackDown star gave her the iconic ‘Dashing’ face mask. It was the same prop Rhodes used in 2012–13 under his ‘Dashing’ gimmick.

Jayne was speechless because it was such an honor. The mask itself carries prestige and the legacy of the American Nightmare. Therefore, being bestowed with such a memorable gift is certainly a positive moment. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion injured her nose a few weeks ago. She has been wearing a face mask ever since in order to guard her face.

Apart from gifting Jayne, the Royal Rumble winner even had a moment with Shawn Spears, Ethan Page, and Lexis King. They shared the same screen and even took a jab at their past in AEW. Moreover, Cody Rhodes even announced the next challenger for Trick Williams in his NXT title reign. It was quite a short but incredible appearance on the development brand by the Undisputed Champion.
