Although celebrities have always been a part of the WWE, the company has enjoyed several collaborations with huge superstars owing to its boom period over the past few years. The latest episode of SmackDown was no different, as it featured American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens being present in the live crowd. The 36-year-old also had a special interaction with Cody Rhodes after the cameras stopped rolling.
After the show went off the air, Rhodes ran to the ring with a steel chair to save The Usos and Sami Zayn from the Bloodline. After they cleared out the ring, the babyfaces called Hudgens into the ring. The five of them stood in a line and performed the iconic “Yeet” hand gesture together. She gave a hug to the superstars and went to take her seat.
Hudgens and her husband, Cole Tucker, both attended the latest episode of SmackDown. Chelsea Green shared a video on her social media in which the couple can be spotted behind the commentary table. They stood up for the Women’s US Champion’s entrance and put their hands to their hearts. The Hot Mess pointed out how both of them had pledged their allegiance to the history-making champion.

Hudgens is famously a huge fan of WWE, and this is not her first time at a WWE show. In fact, she was present at an episode of Raw just two months ago. During this appearance, she showed her support to Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair. Furthermore, she met Triple H backstage, who asked her to stop by the debut episode of Raw on Netflix.
Drew McIntyre hugs Cody Rhodes, who later gets ambushed by Kevin Owens
The latest episode of SmackDown featured yet another appearance by Drew McIntyre on the blue brand. However, this time, he was not there to cut a hostile promo or attack anybody. Quite the opposite; he came out to hug Cody Rhodes during his promo. The Scottish wrestler said he wanted to help the American Nightmare, not hurt him.

Drew McIntyre pointed out the terrible condition that Rhodes’ neck was in. The Chosen One said that the WWE Undisputed Champion needed a friend, and he was there to help. However, the former AEW superstar refused to believe anything that came out of his former tag team partner’s mouth.
Cody Rhodes said that if McIntyre wanted to throw hands, they could do so right there and then. McIntyre refused to escalate, said that the champion would see the truth one day, and told him to watch his back. The WWE Undisputed Champion turned around only to be ambushed by Kevin Owens, and the two superstars had to be separated by WWE officials.
