There is no doubt that the WWE Undisputed Champion had an incredible 2024. He began his year by being involved in one of the most compelling storylines leading up to WrestleMania XL. The 39-year-old main-evented both nights of the show and finally finished his story by ending Roman Reigns‘ streak. He was also crowned the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion after beating Gunther.

Paul Heyman details Cody Rhodes’ commitment to WWE

During a recent appearance on Impaulsive, Paul Heyman talked about The American Nightmare’s level of commitment to the WWE. The Hall of Famer said that alongside being the champion, Rhodes was a “commerce facilitator.” He sold tickets and merchandise like nobody, and putting him on advertising and promotional material always sold out arenas.

My God man, and he does it on his days off too. The commitment that he has to promote the product, that goes along with it too.

Heyman gave a hypothetical example where the promotion would want to put Rhodes on a few radio shows to help them sell out more tickets. Not only would he be willing to appear on 6 am shows per the company’s demand, but he would himself volunteer to appear on overnight shows, afternoon shows and then even make it to the arena in time for the show.
