Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38. His very first feud upon his comeback was against Seth Rollins. The two stars tore the house down over the course of the next two months. The most iconic match of their feud was undoubtedly at Hell in a Cell. The American Nightmare took some time recently to reflect on the epic match he had inside the barbaric structure.
Taking it to X, the Undisputed Champion revealed that before the match, he was dejected and upset regarding his performance. However, the crowd in Chicago supported him immensely. Moreover, the Royal Rumble winner mentioned that it still feels wild for him to take a look at the pictures of the match. Going into the showdown, Cody Rhodes suffered a torn pec, which absolutely decimated his chances of a fight.

Even a torn pec was not enough to take down The American Nightmare. He, alongside Seth Rollins, defined the meaning of a Hell in a Cell and blew the roof off of the Allstate Arena. Thereafter, Rhodes took a six-month hiatus. However, the 38-year-old star received a lot of praise for having the heart of a warrior.
That being said, it was a pretty heated feud between two of the biggest stars of this generation. However, at WrestleMania XL, they joined sides to take down The Bloodline and The Rock. Currently, The Visionary is out of action due to injury. As for Rhodes, he has been dealing with some ‘Champion issues’ on SmackDown.
