Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin

Cody Rhodes kicked off the latest episode of SmackDown to cut a promo. However, he was immediately interrupted by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. The 32-year-old demanded a rematch, claiming that Roman Reigns cost him the title at SummerSlam. As the faction was about to attack the former AEW EVP, Kevin Owens came out with steel chairs to even the odds.

Moments after their segment, Rhodes revealed that Kevin Owens would be getting a WWE Undisputed Championship title shot at Bash in Berlin. The Prizefighter rejected the offer, claiming that he did not deserve it due to his sub-par win-loss record over the past year.

The champion was adamant and said that he would make the match official after talking to Nick Aldis. Later during the show, Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes was officially announced for Bash in Berlin, which will take place later this month.
