In the business end of this week’s Raw, an irate Seth Rollins marched down that aisle to inflict a beating on Jey Uso. The Yeet Master had just put away “Big” Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Rusev to advance to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament. Seeing his disciple getting pinned, The Visionary was livid.

Just as Rollins entered the ring and was about to ambush the former World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes made his way out. The American Nightmare went face-to-face with his old rival, and the fans in attendance ate it up. Rollins eventually decided to retreat in what he thought was a wise move at that point. The ex-AEW EVP turned around and realized that he was looking into the eyes of his competition.

Rhodes will face Uso in the semifinals of the KOTR tournament to seal a berth in the final round match to be held at Night of Champions on June 28. After a brief stare-down, Rhodes shook hands with the former Bloodline member and embraced him to end the show.

Uso and Rhodes know that no matter how amicable they are to each other, it’s time for both of them to remember that in the pro wrestling business, it’s “every man for himself.” The said clash will take place on next week’s Raw in Columbus.

Whoever wins the night will take on the winner of Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn from this Friday’s SmackDown. Rhodes vs. Orton looks to be the move, and the KOTR crown will likely come down to those men.

Cody Rhodes reacts to a young fan getting emotional to his Raw appearance

Cody Rhodes is universally loved by the WWE Universe around the globe. He’s won many hearts through his kind gestures on numerous occasions. A fan named Spencer Spears attended this week’s Raw with his son. Spears noted in his post on X that they drove all the way from Canada to Green Bay, where the show was held on Monday night.

Spears’ son was reduced to tears of joy seeing his favorite WWE Superstar Rhodes making a surprise appearance on Raw to aid Jey Uso. The American Nightmare noticed the said clip and reacted to it as well. The former AEW EVP has left an indelible mark upon the relatively younger demographic of wrestling fans.

One could see a WWE arena these days with thousands of Rhodes’ tees being worn by the attendees. The groundswell in Rhodes’ popularity began the night he returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38. Ever since then, he’s been the top babyface of the company. The Quarterback of WWE ended the longest world title reign in the modern era by ousting Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.

Cody Rhodes’ first look in The Naked Gun goes viral on the internet

Slated to release on August 1, led by a star cast of Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, the Naked Gun’s reboot has a little pinch of Cody Rhodes in it as well. The first look of him from the movie recently surfaced on the internet with the release of The Naked Gun’s trailer.

At the moment, Rhodes is fully committed to WWE. However, the 39-year-old does plan on making his move to Hollywood by following in the footsteps of Dwayne Johnson, Dave Bautista, and John Cena. Speaking of the latter, he’s currently holding the Undisputed WWE title that he won after going below the belt on Rhodes at WrestleMania.

At Money in the Bank, The Prodigal Son pinned Cena in a tag team match where Logan Paul was partnering with the Peacemaker star and Jey Uso was on Rhodes’ side. The latter is going to do everything in his power to make sure he gets his justified rematch against Cena for the world title.
