‘Heel’ John Cena and Cody Rhodes faced off for the third time on Raw since the former’s brutal attack on the latter at Elimination Chamber. However, this time was different, as both stars landed equal blows on each other. After witnessing the intense exchange in the ring, ‘The American Nightmare’s’ sister, Teil Rhodes, reacted on social media.
She took to X to praise her brother, acknowledging that very few people could go toe-to-toe with John Cena on the mic. Teil Rhodes expressed admiration for the 16-time world champion, calling him an “old-timer” and admitting that he still had it. However, she asserted that it wasn’t enough to throw her brother off his game. She stated that Cody Rhodes was the captain now, and it didn’t matter whether it was Cena or The Rock—both had fallen short against him.
On the latest episode of Raw, Rhodes and Cena went head-to-head once again. The Franchise Player called him his chauffeur, just another guy running the company after him. The American Nightmare quickly fired back, reminding Cena that it was he who sold his soul to The Rock. The segment was filled with subtle references that left the WWE Universe stunned.
Nice to see the old timer still had something left but you can’t outrun the QB and you can’t out maneuver the Captain. Pro wrestling got hot again because of Cody and it eats at Cena like it ate at Rock. Birds of a feather.

When ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics’ thought it was over, Rhodes clapped back with one more brutal truth. He claimed that in his entire career, the fans never chanted that he couldn’t wrestle. This enraged the 16-time world champion, and he attempted a cheap shot at the champion.
However, Rhodes showed exactly why he was the top guy of the company, flooring Cena with a Cross Rhodes. With emotions running high in both megastars, the question remains who will be the world champion at WrestleMania 41.
Cody Rhodes talks about his Clash of Clans obsession
Along with being an excellent wrestler, Rhodes is an avid gamer too. One of his favorite games is Clash of Clans. WWE and Supercell have launched a new partnership that will include top WWE superstars into the game for a limited-crossover time starting from April 1 till the end of the month. ‘The American Nightmare’ talked about his obsession with the game.

While speaking with Fox News Digital about his love for the Clash of Clans game and his new partnership with WWE, The American Nightmare revealed that he had been playing the game for many years. He also mentioned that they had created a clan named “Nikki,” which was still active today. Rhodes added that he had all the available skins and had played through all the seasons.
In the collaboration with WWE, Clash of Clans players will be able to play as stars like Rhodes, The Undertaker, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Rey Mysterio, and many others, reimagined as iconic characters from the game. ‘The American Nightmare’ will lead the charge as the “Barbarian King,” while Ripley will be reimagined as the “Archer Queen.”
Cody Rhodes is set to main event his 4th WrestleMania in a row
When Rhodes was still wrestling as Stardust in WWE, many fans doubted he was main-event material. However, he proved them all wrong. Just two years after returning to the company, he competed in his first-ever WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

Even though ‘The American Nightmare’ didn’t finish his story that year, fans quickly realized it wouldn’t be his first and only WrestleMania main event. The following year, he won the Royal Rumble for the second time in a row and once again challenged for the title at the Showcase of the Immortals. However, this time, there was a major twist with The Rock coming into play.
He, along with Seth Rollins, headlined Night 1 of WrestleMania XL against ‘The Final Boss’ and Reigns. Although Rhodes lost that match, he redeemed himself by defeating Reigns on Night 2 to win the title. Now, after nearly a year as champion, The American Nightmare is set to enter his fourth consecutive WrestleMania main event against Cena.
