Despite having a ‘secondary’ role in Gareth Southgate‘s squad at the start of the Euros, Chelsea star Cole Palmer was undoubtedly one of The Three Lions’ best players at UEFA Euro 2024. The 22-year-old did not start a single game under Southgate in Germany, but managed to pick up goal contributions in both the semi-final and final.
As the player spent some much-needed time off after a hectic few months, fans spotted the player with a mystery woman in Ibiza. A shirtless Palmer waddled in the water as the woman in question watched on from their luxury boat. The blonde lady was spotted wearing a stunning bikini as Palmer got on the boat to dry himself off.
With pre-season already underway at Chelsea, the player is soon set to return to Stamford Bridge. New manager Enzo Maresca has had a difficult time finding success, with the club losing their first two games in pre-season.
Following his clutch performances for England, fans are hopeful that the youngster can carry on his form into the new season.
Enzo Maresca, penalties and more as Cole Palmer takes on huge responsibilities for the 2024/25 season
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has picked up his first win of the pre-season in a 3-0 thumping of Mexican side Club America. Despite not linking up with main man Cole Palmer, Maresca has already expressed his confidence in the 22-year-old. It is no secret that the forward is deadly from the penalty spot, having converted 9 penalties in the 2023/24 campaign.
Maresca recently said that Palmer will ‘for sure’ be taking penalties for his side ahead of the new season. The Italian boss has set a precedent as to how things will be under his management, with former manager Mauricio Pochettino blamed for not being able to ‘control’ the squad. Chelsea players embarrassed themselves last season as players fought between themselves as to who will take the penalty during a game.
While on vacation, Palmer also went viral for his juggling skills. The player successfully juggled random objects ranging from a roll of toilet paper to an apple and a lettuce! Fans are excited to see how the player will fare under Maresca and whether the club will finally land a Champions League spot after spending so much in the transfer window.
