Colin Cowherd wants Eagles to trade WR AJ Brown for a bizarre reason
FOX Sports' veteran analyst wants AJ Brown to either keep quiet about the tension between him and QB Jalen Hurts or the Eagles should punish him by trading him away.

In a bizarre turn of events, FOX Sports analyst Colin Cowherd wants the Philadelphia Eagles to move on from star wide receiver AJ Brown, just weeks after he helped the team win its second-ever Super Bowl. The veteran football pundit has grown tired of Brown going around and babbling too much about their locker room exploits.
In a recent segment of FS1’s The Herd, Cowherd took a dig at Brown. He claimed that he doesn’t like ‘chatty receivers’ in the team. The Eagles already have suitable replacements on the team, so they will not feel much about Brown’s absence.
I’m over chatty wide receivers calling out quarterbacks. Let’s be honest, with DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley, and that offensive line, you can move off AJ Brown. He’s very, very good… but you can move off him.

Colin Cowherd suggests the #Eagles should trade AJ Brown for being “chatty”: “I’m over chatty WR’s calling out QBs. Let’s be honest, with DeVonta Smith, Goedert, Saquon, and that O-Line, you can move off AJ Brown. He’s very good.. but you can move off him.

Receivers are very demanding individuals by nature. They tend to make their voices heard if they don’t get adequate service from their quarterbacks.
Despite winning the Super Bowl, Brown and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts weren’t on the same page because he relied mostly on running back Saquon Barkley more. The chemistry improved as time went on as Brown crossed the 1000-yard threshold.
Colin Cowherd wants Eagles to issue an ultimatum to AJ Brown for talking too much
Moving away from one of the premier receivers isn’t an easy task, especially after winning the Super Bowl. Brown signed a three-year, $96 million deal, of which he has played just one year. The Eagles have zero reason to trade the former second-round pick.

If the Eagles keep hold of Brown, then Cowherd suggested they should lay down the law on the wideout.
I would call him in right now and say, ‘You’re not talking about the quarterback publicly, or we’re gonna move you’… I’d say first and last warning.

Co-host Jason McIntyre was in awe of Cowherd’s assessment. He defended Brown for being one of the key members of the Eagles team. Cowherd brushed McIntyre’s words aside and claimed the Eagles can recover ‘80% of Brown’ if they traded him because he is a surplus to their demands.
There will always be issues in a football team, and instead of letting the tension rise, it’s better to let the steam out by talking among each other. The Eagles achieved the level of stability in the locker room because they were able to set aside their differences and fight for the common goal. Trading away Brown for speaking his mind makes very little sense.
