The Commanders’ defense also played a pivotal role in the win, sacking Browns QB Deshaun Watson 7 times. With the win, the Commanders are now 4-1 on the season, marking their best start since 2008. With twelve games remaining, they have already matched the wins from last year.

Daniels’ performance was particularly noteworthy, as he became the first rookie quarterback to defeat Browns’ defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz since Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. The Commanders’ strong start has many fans and analysts keen to see how they play the season out.
