‘Conor is the best striker in UFC lightweight division history!’ says Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s rivalry is known by all and it is undoubted one of the biggest rivalry in UFC history. Although Khabib outlasted Conor during this match and won the fight by making Conor tap. After these both these fighters keep taking on each other on various occasions.

But the coaches of both of them appreciate each of them on different occasions. In his latest interview, Khabib’s coach Javier Mendez says, “Dustin’s moved up quite a bit since the last time they fought but so has Conor. The way I have seen him Conor, I see the same thing that happened last time, maybe a little harder but if he stays sharp like I‘ve seen him, precision striking.”

“Unless he can be taken down but Dustin is not known as a takedown artist. Anything is possible because they are both some of the best ever but I favor Conor McGregor because of the precision striking, he is the best striker in the lightweight division history and he might be one of the best strikers in all MMA history.”

Conor’s coach also praised Khabib earlier

When the UFC Flyweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement lot of people from the UFC fraternity came forward to greet him for his great carrier. Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh praised Khabib for his great carrier.

Kavanagh says, “Great night of fights. Congratulations to Khabib Nurmagomedov on a great carrier. I’m sure his father is undoubtedly proud”. The praise for Mendez is special because of all that happened at UFC 229, Khabib attacking Dillon Danis after winning the fight and facing a suspension of a year.

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov both are the greatest fighters of the Lightweight division and although they had differences between each other but the coaches of each one of them see the other one as great fighters.
