UFC superstar Conor McGregor's Notorious Cigars take center stage as Irishman launches a new venture, post-Proper 12 drop.

Per Prince Sined Yar Maharg, there’s a very popular saying that names five essentials making it worth living: “good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.” UFC superstar Conor McGregor is baking more dough than most on almost all of those. Now, “Notorious” makes a notorious turn into cigars.
Ex-UFC double-division champ Conor McGregor is known for his brand value and marketability. However, he isn’t the MMA white knight he used to be lately. A Dublin civil court holds him liable for assault on Nikita Hand in 2018, levying just upward of €248,000 in damages (£206,000 /$260,000 all-in). Major brands, like his world-famous Proper 12, have dropped him as a brand pitchman. Hence, McGregor now makes the shift to the finer luxuries.
Not all cigars are created equal. This one? It’s Notorious 🔥 Hand-rolled. Rich. Bold. Unapologetic. This isn’t just a Cigar – it’s an experience, a statement, a reward for those who dare to stand out.

News of the Ireland “Notorious” Cigars started circulating last October. The Notorious Cigar will seemingly be a Toro size (6×50) and with 3 years on the shelf. Established in the Dominican Republic, M.J. Frias Cigars (founded in 1991) and House Blends Direct LLC may have played a pivotal role in the creation of these cigars. After Greenback Records and other Irish ventures, this will be yet another business end touting the “Notorious” brand.

Touting his Ecuadorian Habano 2000 Rosado Oscura cigars, Conor McGregor’s socials douse the brand motto “When you sign to fight me it’s a celebration!” But other than such ventures, MMA promotions duties (not at UFC though), and some murky sociopolitical aspirations aside, the fighter has been stale.
A combat return seems far from the truth and definitely not a celebration. His UFC 303 kickoff pre-fight sales presser was to be a big one. McGregor’s supposed return made a projected live gate income of $20 million. However, his opponent was left high and dry.
Michael Chandler tunes up on supposed UFC rival Conor McGregor’s UFC comeback to an extent
Conor McGregor’s return to fighting has had expectant rival from TUF Season 31, Michael Chandler, changing his tune many times now. The UFC lightweight put two years of active contention on hold for such a money fight. Chandler did get a date at UFC 303, but “Notorious” broke a pinky toe.

Impatient, Chandler booked another fight. He got things back on track with Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 PPV in November of last year. He returns to face Paddy Pimblett in a five-round co-main event at UFC 314 on April 12 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. However, even so, Chandler now lays into the has-been and could-be of it and speaks on McGregor’s return:
Conor is always a part of it, man, …His road back to the UFC goes through me. It goes straight through Nashville, Tennessee, and Michael Chandler. We’ve got to finish ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31.’ That is the UFC’s sentiment…Well, if you’re a man of your word then there’s only one guy that you’re going to fight, the guy who had a contract with your name on. The guy who signed on the dotted line and still to this day never missed weight and never pulled out.

Chandler is optimistic that Conor McGregor will return. However, the betting man in “Iron” said McGregor is fading beyond measure. The UFC superstar does boast his records, but all from years ago. McGregor has been out of the game since his 2021 TKO injury loss to Dustin Poirier. Hence, Chandler teases that the Irishman wouldn’t want his legacy to be of breaking a leg, signing a dotted line “to fight Chandler“, but never returning again.
