Mike Perry recently clashed against Jake Paul in a boxing bout at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Conor McGregor was upset about the outcome of the fight. He went to his social media and expressed his disappointment at the “King of Violence”. Following that statement, both McGregor and Perry shared their views on the ownership debate of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships.

27-year-old Jake Paul once again proved that he is here to stay in the field of boxing. He thrashed undefeated BKFC fighter Mike Perry via TKO in the sixth round. However, following that outcome, Conor McGregor blasted on social media and wanted to fire Mike Perry from BKFC. Mike Perry didn’t hold back and gave a reply to the Notorious at his post-fight press conference.

He doesn’t f**king have a promotion coz me and him are both owners of BKFC so he can’t fire me. You know, I lost to Jake Paul, why don’t you go fight Jake Paul in boxing with the gloves on. I think it’ll be worse than Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather.

After McGregor’s announcement as one of the owners of BKFC, Perry also clarified that he is also a part-owner of the promotion. Both the fighters had an on-and-off battle brewing against each other for a long time now. However, most of the time McGregor was seen lauding the King of Violence. Meanwhile, Perry might have had a bitter opinion on the Irishman. However, coming back to the ownership claim, McGregor doubled down on his decision. He fired back at Perry as he made his feelings clear in a now-deleted post.

Michael you are not any owner in BKFC. Not an iota. You have the tiniest minute dot of a share in thriller... You hold nothing in bare knuckle. Not an iota. And, trust me, you are out bro. With no feelings...

With this statement, McGregor nullifies Mike Perry’s ownership claim. However, now that he has deleted that tweet, it left many to wonder about who’s right and who’s wrong. The former UFC fighter resurrected his dying fighting career after joining Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. However, Conor McGregor didn’t stop at taking a dig at the face of BKFC there. The Irishman revealed an intriguing insight into Mike Perry’s paycheck for fighting Jake Paul.

The Irishman continued his online attack on Perry after his initial tweet storm, which included insulting remarks about Paul. He quickly posted and deleted a series of messages claiming that the ‘King of Violence’ had taken a pay cut in order to have a boxing match, which was a goal of his.

Perry reportedly pocketed $600,000 as a disclosed purse for his fight with Thiago Alves at the promotion’s KnuckleMania pay-per-view in April. And while he would have received a large sum for fighting Paul, it likely won’t have quite reached that number before pay-per-view sales come in.

Perry took a pay cut to take that fight btw, It was a wish of his. Astounding. He will not be offered a return to the BKFC ring. He can do a few matches of his new dirty boxing thing with the MMA sparring gloves he has set up. We wish him well. Wish granted

McGregor as a co-owner of BKFC, revealed that BKFC pays way more than what Perry must have got to fight Paul. The Irishman even highlighted that it was Perry’s decision to take the risk of fighting outside of BKFC. However, now it remains to be seen if the BKFC board sits out and decides whether Perry will stay at the promotion or not.
