Conor McGregor celebrates receiving the key to the city of Miami from the mayor with Black Forge Inn’s stouts and popsicles
Conor McGregor
UFC megastar Conor McGregor is on the top of this world. He is a fighter that could retire right now at the age of 33, even when he doesn’t want to. A successful stint as mixed martial artist in the UFC, becoming the first-ever simultaneous double champion in the UFC, fighting the great Floyd Mayweather in his boxing debut, a successful alcohol business in Proper 12 Irish Whiskey and now establishing his own Inn, McGregor needs to do nothing and the money will come on its own.
But McGregor is all good but once a fighter, is always a fighter. McGregor last fought at UFC 264, where he fractured his shin bone at the end of the first round and the fight had to be called off in favour of his then opponent and rival Dustin Poirier due to doctor stoppage. Now, it seems like McGregor will most likely return in the third quarter of this year, and might probably go for a title shot.
Conor McGregor thanks Miami’s mayor Francis X. Suarez for the Key
McGregor was recently awarded the “Key” to the city of Miami by its Mayor Francis X. Suarez. McGregor fondly clicked a picture with the key in his Black Forge Inn.
On Instagram, McGregor recently wrote in captions “The key to the city of Miami at @theblackforgeinn Dublin twelve, and still. Top man, Mayor @francissuarez thanks for the buzz, this 50k cash from “gargle entertainment” is to me. Hard work pays.“
What do you make of McGregor receiving the city “Key” by the mayor? It seems like McGregor has made it fair and square equal to or perhaps bigger than UFC in his name value. Where do you put McGregor amongst the greatest megastars in combat sports history? Who do you think McGregor will go against on his return?
