During a rally on July 3, Donald Trump billed that the White House would be on call in 2026 to commemorate the United States’ 250th birthday and host a PPV event on the grounds. The POTUS’s latest statement regarding the organization of a UFC competition has piqued the curiosity of the most renowned figure in the discipline.

“The Notorious” Conor McGregor wants to put in all the stock into it, so that it’s he that headlines such an affair! A ‘Conor McGregor’ sighting has been far and wide after his unfortunate 2021 leg break TKO. He was set to ‘absolutely, positively’ return for the UFC 303 PPV kickoff presser at 3Arena last Summer, but incurred another pinky toe injury.

The Notorious used to be notoriously famous for filling out arenas and producing mammoth live gate outputs with his appearance, but gone are those days. However, McGregor’s ears perked up with the prospect of 25,000 in attendance and a stately affair of a massive gate output! The Irishman chipped in his wishes to star the matter at the White House:

Happy 4th of July, USA. 🇺🇸
Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House.
I would be honoured! Count me in!

Since last year, McGregor became a BKFC equity owner and a promoter, handling their business instead of UFC. The going strain was that he might box or lace up elsewhere even, but UFC has on lock on the last contractual leg, until the year’s exclusive media rights deal.

But a McGregor return or the scope of one never fails to incite some spark, even though the Irishman himself doesn’t help out much. This isn’t his first visit to the rotunda and media press West wing, too; joined by press secretary Karoline Leavitt, he bombarded the White House on St. Patrick’s day for what he called the most important meeting, declaring intentions for an Irish presidency bid.

The fighter’s next update was all doom and gloom, with more a consolation that he’d fight too. McGregor, who went viral for wanting to stage a reform of the Dáil Éireann (House of Representatives of the Oireachtas/AKA Irish Parliament) for not aligning with Irish commoners, has been at it for long.

The Team SBG top crop has been vehemently protesting to care for Irish reasons rather than immigrants pawning off their peace. Between all that, far and wide, an MMA/UFC return seemed far off. All that could change if McGregor has the nod from UFC CEO and headman Dana White.

UFC White House dream card PPV headliner features Conor McGregor, Jon Jones or even Donald Trump’s ‘BIG’ fan

Donald Trump’s shock statement of a UFC fight staged, during Thursday’s Iowa State Fairgrounds visit has sent shockwaves throughout. Irish superstar and pay-per-view king Conor McGregor leaked a message in which he discusses things with White.

The UFC CEO thinks highly of whatever idea Conor McGregor pitched – now it’s just about hammering in a PPV spot opponent. White even touted an all-capped-out “I Love it!

Michael Chandler seems like the obvious choice given that both want to finish their two-year-long saga; “Iron” was the IFW festivity projected opponent last summer. Chandler even has quite a kinship with Donald Trump and supported him during his conviction for 34 counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments.

The POTUS in his last term took a liking to the high-profile backing. Other than that, Donald Trump is a fan of ex-UFC HW Jon Jones, who just hung up from fighting.

Hence, blocks of fan forums surmised that with his prolific immigration enforcement and record 65,000+ detention even targeting the fight world now, the Trump administration might save face and push for a Jones return. “Bones” vs. UK Native, and now default undisputed champ Tom Aspinall seemed finally like a possibility.

It’d fit the theme, too, after all. U.S. versus the Brits, anyone? The U.S. independence was the ratification of the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, signing treaties with the monarchy setup of King George III, and declaring their independence. A 15-minute Conor McGregor vs Chandler is well worthy of a PPV coheadliner slot, but the Jones vs. Aspinall scrapper is still top of the wishlist.

A weird one out would be Trump’s most vocal fan, Colby Covington. If ‘Mystic Mac’ is back in the fighting circle (octagon), he could also push for Irish compatriot Ian Machado Garry to follow suit. Garry and “Chaos” have been enemies for a while and have often targeted each other. The competition between Garry and Trump for the title of Trump’s most dedicated MMA fan is reaching a fever pitch.
