A recent video of Hughes sharing a respectful moment with Khabib Nurmagomedov went viral. Interestingly, McGregor does not have a good relationship with Dagestani fighters, particularly with Nurmagomedov. Notably, the ‘Eagle’ and the ‘Notorious’ have shared one of the most intense rivalries in UFC history, where personal conflicts and animosity towards each other remain strong even to this day.

Interestingly, McGregor, who ended up on the losing side of the rivalry at UFC 229, appeared quite upset with the Irish prospect for reconciling with the ‘Eagle.’ This comes in light of the intense pre-fight trash talk between him and Khabib’s brother, Usman Nurmagomedov, ahead of their PFL Dubai clash.
