Conor McGregor made millions after he fought Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring. Afterward, he made more millions after selling his Proper 12 Whiskey. Now, as he returns to the octagon after a three-year lay-off against Michael Chandler, the Irishman has made a sound investment. The Irishman became an owner of a promotion that Dana White could not be.

McGregor is now a part owner of BKFC, the biggest bare-knuckle fight promotion in the world. David Feldman, the founder of BKFC, revealed the move to have McGregor by their side, as a way to garner a bigger reach. The news became public after McGregor announced it on social media. Even Michael Chandler, his upcoming opponent, praised the Irishman.

Despite the praise for the business decision of McGregor, Chandler has no respect for the Irishman as a fighter. In the same tweet, the former Bellator lightweight champion vowed to knock McGregor out in under two rounds. Interestingly, John Kavanagh, the head coach of McGregor also had a similar prediction, but opposite to what Chandler had predicted.

Mike Perry is the face of BKFC. Perry once revealed Dana White made a lowball offer for BKFC. However, Feldman refused. Therefore, McGregor should’ve paid big money to become part owner. Nonetheless, the recent BKFC event saw Perry knock out Thiago Alves in the first round in the main event. Moreover, a scuffle also happened ringside at the event.

Conor McGregor has made a lot of enemies in his life. He has even made enemies outside the fight world and in the showbiz industry. One such enemy is Colson Barker, popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly. McGregor had a scuffle with the rapper recently.

Michael Chandler now appeared to have teamed up with the rapper, 63 days away from his fight with McGregor, at UFC 303. Chandler posted a picture of himself with Machine Gun Kelly in a recent tweet on X. As McGregor has played mind games with Chandler, it might have been one on Chandler’s part to fire one back.

McGregor is not the only fighter who has a problem with the rapper. Sean Strickland, the former UFC middleweight champion, was upset when he found out the rapper was the spouse of Megan Fox, a Hollywood sex symbol. Strickland even alluded that the rapper was a vampire.
