Conor McGregor is the most influential personality in the MMA world. He was the reason for the worldwide popularity of the sport. We know that he was working with Jake Gyllenhaal in a film recently. Now, he was featured in the list of ‘Next Action Heroes’ made by the Hollywood reporter. They wrote that this could kickstart a whole new post-ring career for the Irishman.

McGregor was roped in for his acting debut in a Hollywood film alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. This film was a remake of the 1980s classic, Road House. They even shot a film scene at the T-Mobile arena during UFC 285. According to ‘The Mac Life’ McGregor’s performance in the film has earned him praise from his co-stars and even resulted in an extended role.

In a conversation with Barstool Sports, McGregor opened up about his film shooting experience. Here is what he said:

I did enjoy the process. It was very tough. I’ll tell you what I enjoyed the most… The fact that now everything else seems easy…Because 15-hour days on set, memorizing lines. You’re memorizing the lines and practicing before you even go on set, so it’s a lot of hard work.

This was his comeback fight after his loss against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Recently, he re-posted a tweet of a fan praising him for the damage he inflicted on Cerrone in the first ten seconds.

In his fight against Cerrone, he deployed shoulder strikes to his opponent’s face when they got into a clinch position early. This made visible damage to Cerrone’s face before
