Conor McGregor interested in running back fight against Max Holloway

“The Notorious” Conor McGregor is well and truly back from his third retirement! He is expected to face “Diamond” Dustin Poirier in January, 2021. The Irishman has been in an out of the UFC over the past few years, with his most recent retirement coming after handing Donald “The Cowboy” Cerrone a first round KO defeat. The “face of the fight game” then decided to fight Dustin Poirier in a charity exhibition match, before UFC intervened and made it an official UFC bout.
Back Again! Conor McGregor was in good spirits when he went on a Q & A session via. Twitter. “The Notorious” patiently answered a variety of questions from fans with the hashtag AskNotorious, right from fights he would like to run back to questions about Khabib, Dustin.
“For sure I would be interested in running it back with Max” – Conor via Twitter
A fan asked Conor, “Would you ever want to fight Holloway again? You Two are two of the most real and tough guys to ever be in the octagon together!” Max Holloway was a tough nut to crack for Conor McGregor, back when the two fought in 2013. That was the only fight Conor McGregor won by unanimous decision in his entire career, with the rest being KOs, TKOs, Submission and one Majority Decision victory over Nate Diaz.
Conor replied saying, “For sure I would be interested in running it back with Max.” Max Holloway has actually come a long way since that Conor fight and the Hawaiian has never been KOed even once in his career. Since, only one weight class currently separates him and Conor, the fight might soon come to fruition if Conor beats Poirier.
Do you see the fight happening anytime soon? If, yes will Conor overcome the renewed Holloway?
