Conor McGregor took Instagram to confirm their fight. The fighter wrote in the caption, “The fight is booked!”. The Irishman also states that he will show the world what he’s about. “July 10th you’re gonna see what the Mac is about. Adjust and absolutely fucking destroy!”
McGregor won the first fight against Dustin Poirier in 2014 where they competed in the featherweight class. The Irishman won the bout via KO in the very first round asserting dominance. The trilogy will be the decider to show who’s the better fighter among the two.
Conor McGregor requests rematch with Nate Diaz to settle the former rivalry
Just like Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor also is tied up 1-1 with welterweight fighter Nate Diaz. The Irish superstar is looking to get the exact same revenge against Nate too. Both the stars have gone back and forth twitter too suggesting that there’s still bad blood.
The first between Nate and Conor ended in Nate’s favor as the Stockton fighter ended up submitting Conor McGregor. In the rematch, Conor beat Nate Diaz in 2016 via a unanimous decision. The dispute is yet to be settled and McGregor demands another rematch after the Dustin Poirier trilogy.
