Conor McGregor has been making headlines about his fighting career lately. From appearing at Donald Trump‘s inauguration ceremony to his current political stance about Ireland, McGregor has everyone’s attention. He also made sure to engage his fighting fan base as he went against former UFC fighter, Jeremy Stephens.
As the co-owner, Conor McGregor recently attended the BKFC KnuckleMania 5, which took place last night in Pennsylvania. In the event, Jeremy Stephens went toe to toe against former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez and beat him via TKO. After the win, McGregor came inside the ring and went face to face against Stephens recreating their iconic moment from UFC days.
Back at UFC 205 press conference, Stephens challenged McGregor by considering himself as the hardest-hitting featherweight in the sport. In response, ‘The Notorious’ coined one of the most iconic lines in the history of combat sports, ”Who the f*** is that guy?” Years later, things have changed a lot and McGregor is ready to take on Stephens inside the BKFC ring.

However, as expected, many fans are still skeptical about McGregor’s potential comeback. The Irish fighter has talked about UFC return, boxing ventures as well as BKFC debut, but nothing is confirmed. In the last few years, he has faced a variety of criticism from his rivals due to his lack of commitment.
Conor McGregor gets bashed by internet rival
Conor McGregor was recently roped into the PFL lightweight championship rivalry between Usman Nurmagomedov and Paul Hughes. Hailing from Ireland, Hughes made sure to get McGregor’s support as he fought against Team Khabib this weekend. It was a controversial fight, and the Belfast-born failed to take home the championship.
Hughes put on a great fight, but lost the fight via majority decision, which raised criticism among fight fans. McGregor made sure to comment on the fight and called it a robbery while mocking Usman Nurmagomedov. Jake Paul, however, took this opportunity to mock the former UFC champion given their ongoing beef.
Paul Hughes did what Conor McGregor couldn’t do. Congrats my guy. You won regardless of the outcome. Big ups to both men.

McGregor had previously talked about a boxing bout with the elder brother, Logan Paul in India, which hasn’t gone as planned. Jake Paul recently met McGregor at Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony where they shared some viral moments. However, it was short-lived as the Paul brothers mocked the ‘Mystic Mac’ for being controlled by Dana White.
