YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul is set to face boxing superstar Gervonta Davis in an exhibition bout next month. The thrilling matchup is scheduled to take place inside the iconic Kaseya Center in Miami on November 14. Going into the fight, there is a certain amount of hype, but Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to be interested in the clash.

Davis vs. Paul is a 10-round exhibition with 12-ounce gloves that will be streamed live on Netflix. Both fighters had their first press conference recently and exchanged some serious trash-talking, which has increased the hype. McGregor was recently asked about whether he is interested in watching the bout, and the ‘Notorious’ immediately denied his excitement.

I don’t know what to make of it, to be honest.  Be curious to see but I’m not invested in it. I’ll watch it on X. I will watch the highlights on X.

McGregor hasn’t stepped inside the UFC Octagon in more than four years, yet remains deeply active in combat sports conversations. He has attended many boxing events worldwide, often going viral for his outrageous antics, unpredictable behavior, and memorable internet-shaking moments.

Despite this, he appears completely uninterested in watching the anticipated boxing bout between his long-standing rival and internet adversary, Jake Paul. The rivalry between McGregor and Jake Paul has been fueled by years of online insults, bold challenges, and constant public provocations. Paul has repeatedly called out the ‘Notorious,’ mocking his career, lifestyle, and legacy to attract attention.

Despite his continued efforts and loud demands for a fight, Paul has never secured the opportunity to face McGregor. Paul has continuously shared a public beef with McGregor’s boss and UFC CEO Dana White, constantly criticizing fighter pay controversies. He has strategically fought several retired UFC fighters throughout his career, using these high-profile matchups to build mainstream recognition.

Paul’s victories over well-known names like Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley have strengthened his credibility as an athlete, but not as a top boxer. Heading into his highly anticipated fight with Davis, Paul has promised fans another spectacular performance that continues his winning streak.

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight prediction

Jake Paul is currently riding a six-fight win streak, continuing to establish himself as a recognized force in boxing today. His most recent bout was against the legendary Mike Tyson, a fight that drew enormous attention and global media coverage. Paul secured a unanimous decision victory, earning over 40 million dollars and expanding his reputation.

However, the fight faced criticism for its slow pace and for Paul avoiding opponents closer to his age and weight. With the upcoming fight with Gervonta Davis, Paul has also promised to knock out ‘Tank’ and give fans a highlight finish. Former boxing multi-division champion Roy Jones Jr has also commented on the fight and shared his prediction.

Now to Tank’s credit, I’m interested in the Tank v Jake Paul exhibition because I know for a fact that if they do it for real, Tank is capable. Although he’s small, he’s capable of knocking Jake Paul out, just like Jake Paul’s probably capable of knocking him out because he’s so much bigger.

Davis’s last fight was a majority draw against Lamont Roach Jr. on March 1, 2025, maintaining his undefeated record. He currently boasts an impressive unbeaten streak with 30 wins, including 28 knockouts, solidifying his status as a top lightweight champion. Regarding Paul, Davis acknowledged the fight hype and emphasized focusing on the challenge, while staying mostly quiet on social media.
