UFC superstar Conor McGregor recently hung out with controversial YouTuber-turned-WWE wrestler Logan Paul. The ‘Notorious’ attended Donald Trump‘s inauguration ceremony, where he connected with Logan and his younger brother Jake Paul. However, McGregor’s longtime friend Dillon Danis wasn’t a big fan of it given his bad blood with Logan.

Despite having an online rivalry with the Paul brothers, McGregor was seen having a blast with them on a bus. They talked about their fights and even resorted to brutally roasting each other. In a recent podcast, Danis talked about experiencing a feeling of betrayal from McGregor.

He has been through lawsuits, so he knows what it’s like to be sued. It sucks. That’s why it kind of hurt. Like you’re kind of laughing and giggling with a guy that’s really fucking ruining my fucking life, you know.

Logan Paul and Danis had a heated rivalry leading up to their boxing match in 2023. Danis repeatedly attacked Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, online, sharing private images and controversial remarks. This led Agdal to file a lawsuit against Danis for harassment and defamation. Despite the legal tension, their fight proceeded, with Paul dominating and winning by disqualification.

The rivalry highlighted Danis’ controversial tactics, for which he still faces the lawsuit. As the BJJ expert highlighted, McGregor himself faced a s*xual assault civil lawsuit, which made him pay a whopping $250K. It seems like given their history together, Danis expected more from the ‘Mystic Mac’ but that wasn’t the case.

The incident remains one of the most infamous moments in UFC history, showcasing intense animosity between both camps. It remains as one of the most grossing pay-per-view fights of all time. Nurmagomedov’s post-fight brawl led to fines and suspensions for several involved. While talking about it, Danis explained that the Dagestani didn’t land anything on him.

It was just a whole mayhem and then everybody was getting punched, and cops were going all over the place, and … he didn’t touch me at all. I remember hitting him with a good amount of shots, and then I just remember him trying to pull away and run away from me, and I was trying to cup his head and uppercut him. But it was mayhem. Everything happened so fast.
