WWE superstar John Cena currently hosts the reboot version of the show Wipeout. Recently, a male contestant on the show passed away as soon as he completely the obstacle course.
As per reports on TMZ, the police received a phone call around noon, regarding the cardiac arrest. The contestant was complaining of chest pains soon after completing the obstacle course challenge. The on-site medics attended to him while the paramedics arrived. The contestant passed away after reaching the hospital.
TMZ informed that Wipeout had medically assessed the contestant before he was allowed to participate. TBS issued the following statement, “We are devastated to have learned of his passing and our deepest sympathy goes out to the family.”

John Cena currently hosts Wipeout reboot with Nicole Byer. He also is an executive producer on the show. On the Hollywood front Cena will be seen in upcoming movies of the Fast and Furious franchise and also the Suicide Squad movie.
