Contract negotiations between Alaba and Bayern hit a rock

David Alaba and Bayern Munich are having problems. Apparently contract negotiations with the player are taking time. Bayern are ready to offer the Austrian international a new deal. However Alaba wants a massive spike in wages. This is not ok the interest of Bayern Munich.

The German giants are the current European champions. Alaba is an integral part of the team. He partnered Jerome Boateng in the centre back position.

Oliver Kahn on Alaba situation

Club legend Oliver Kahn has said Bayern won’t break the bank for Alaba. Moreover Alaba is insisting on earning $29 million per year. This is at par with Robert Lewandowski! He has a year left on his contract.
