Back in 2023, Rams’ Cooper Kupp listed his 5,700 square foot Oregon mansion up for sale at $3.5 million. As per reports by TMZ, the NFL star has finally sold the property for a settlement price of $3 million. The buyers caught a good bargain if the reports of the inside view of the mansion are to be believed.
The price tag seemed too good to be true considering the extravagant facilities and amenities the mansion came with. Per TMZ, the mansion is complete with five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, hardwood floors, French doors, a gym and a guest house. However, what was more special and personal to the Rams star was a 4,600-square-foot building he made for his training.
As for the reason because of which Kupp sold the property, it wasn’t in view of the cash. TMZ insider revealed it was because he spent more time in California than he and his family had originally planned. Regardless, the property was finally sold by Kendra Ratcliff of LUXE after being originally listed off at $3.5 million.
While Kupp didn’t have his luck in previous NFL seasons, he paid attention to real estate. In 2021, Kupp was named a Pro Bowler and First Team All-Pro for the first time. Additionally, he won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award and finished third in NFL MVP. Not just that, Kupp was also named Super Bowl MVP. However, he couldn’t achieve that level of glory since then and his recurring injuries were to be blamed.
Cooper Kupp opens up on memories associated with Oregon mansion
Although Cooper Kupp had another property in LA, which he listed for sale last year in 2022, this one seemed to have a personal connect with the player. Kupp seemingly made an emotional investment when he bought this 5700 square-foot mansion back in 2020. In a conversation with Forbes, he reflected on the memories he made in that home, especially the barn.
Kupp explained he did majority of his off-season prep in the mansion. Furthermore, he was grateful to have made unforgettable memories with his family at the place. The place was perfectly built keeping in mind its job to host his training. Kupp further stated how converting the barn to a performance center was an intentional decision that played out well.
Cooper Kupp also expressed his viewpoint about being grounded with nature. That was the reason why the environmental presence was a major aspect of the mansion. Overall, he was appreciative of the memories he made with his family.
