It was a high-scoring match between the two sides but it was Peru who advanced to the semi finals after winning the penalty shootout. Peru are on the verge of repeating their journey in the 2019 edition of the Copa America when they managed to reach the finals, shocking everyone.

There match between Peru and Praguay ended 3-3 and also saw one player from each team sent off in normal time. peru will now face Brazil in the semi-finals, a team which beat them 3-1 in the final of the 2019 edition.
