- Danielle Collins is sidelined from competition at the Miami Open due to health issues.
- Collins and Corentin Moutet's recent flirtation sparked social media buzz and fan reactions.
- Collins went viral again after posting a revealing photo on Instagram, further fueling the drama.
The Miami Open is underway, and Danielle Collins, instead of competing on the court, is sitting behind Tennis Channel’s microphone. Due to health reasons, the American ace has yet to compete in a tournament this season.
Collins, however, often finds herself in headlines all thanks to her off-court antics. She recently went viral for her flirting row with ATP ace Corentin Moutet.
During a Storytime with Danielle Collins segment on Tennis Channel, the 32-year-old revealed that her dog, Mr.Quincy, pooped in front of a locker room of a rival she’s not a fan of during her championship run at the 2024 Miami Open. In another segment, Collins claimed Moutet, who is 5’11”, tried to flirt with her and unfollowed her after reading her dating profile.
Collins advised the “short kings” not to slide into her DMs since she’s 5’10” and would date taller and wealthier guys so that she, as a traditional wife, can raise chickens, do home projects, and make freshly baked sourdough.
The Frenchman hit back, saying he never followed her and called out Tennis Channel for letting someone talk “BS”. Moutet advised her to love herself so that she doesn’t end up doing “stupid” things to seek validation.
Collins has gone viral once again. She simply took to her Instagram and shared a photo of herself posing in a cleavage-baring bikini. She captioned the post with: “Miami… Te Amo“.

She really went from no short kings to posting thirst traps right after the drama? Timing’s a bit too perfect.

In Miami, Moutet reached the third round and lost the match to four-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner in straight sets. The Miami Open will conclude after a few days. In the semifinals, Sinner will be playing Alexander Zverev, while Jiri Lehecka will lock horns with Arthur Fils.
In the Masters 1000s, Moutet has yet to progress to the quarterfinals. He has so far reached just one fourth round, in last year’s Italian Open.
Danielle Collins reacts to Iga Swiatek’s split with Wim Fissette
Iga Swiatek is no longer working with coach Wim Fissette. Following her shock opening-round exit at the Miami, the Pole announced that she had parted ways with the Belgian coach. Collins, on Tennis Channel, gave her reaction to the breakup.

I think at this point, with the results that she’s had, it makes sense trying to switch things up and looking to go into a different direction. I think it’s to be expected; there’s no player who works with the same exact coach, really, throughout their entire career. You learn by working with other people, and you get different perspectives. If you just work with one person your whole life, you’re not going to get the same type of evolvement. I think it’s smart on her end.
Swiatek lost in the quarterfinals of the three singles tournaments she played before the Miami Open. Eventual champion Elena Rybakina beat her at the Australian Open, and Maria Sakkari knocked her out at the Qatar Open. At Indian Wells, Elina Svitolina beat her.
Swiatek has not yet won a title since winning the 2025 Korea Open. Last year, apart from the Korea Open, she also won at Wimbledon and the Cincinnati Open. The six-time Grand Slam champion will next be participating at the Stuttgart Open, where eventual champion Jelena Ostapenko defeated her in the quarterfinals last year. The four-time Roland Garros champion failed to progress to a final on the clay swing last year.
