In a charming rustic hall at the picturesque Verona Villa in Dallas, Cowboys cheerleader Zoe Dale and Cincinnati Bengals kicker, Cade York tied the knot on July 5, 2025. Surrounded by friends and family, the couple celebrated their special day with love, laughter, and getting ‘Yorked’.

The couple, who announced their engagement in March, gave fans a peek into their wedding celebration with two joint carousel posts on their Instagrams. One photo carousel was captioned, “A lifetime of us!!,” while another featured the Bible verse Ruth 1:16–17.

In what could be described as a beautiful and intimate affair, Zoe Dale dazzled in an off-shoulder flared white wedding dress from A&BE and Watters Designs while her beau carried the cowboy charm with a tan suit. The celebration, in addition to dances, cake, photos and kisses, had one special event that left everyone wowed.

Her colleagues in a rendition of the 1990 joined the bride, who’s a part of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) hit “Thunderstruck.” In their wedding day attire, about a dozen cheerleaders and guests picked up pom-poms and performed the famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders pregame routine.

Dale, in her white wedding dress, led the group with big smiles and smooth moves. The “Thunderstruck” rendition has now become a full-fledged tradition many DCC brides follow on their wedding day.

The pair started dating somewhere in the middle of 2024 and became Instagram official with a June recap post on the cheerleader’s account. The duo celebrated Dale’s birthday together in October. They caught national attention when the Bengals played the Cowboys in the regular season.

Ahead of the game, York addressed the dynamic between them as they shared allegiances to two different jerseys.

[Our teams] are playing on Monday, and I was like, ‘Well, Zoë, I will see you at home no matter what, it’s pretty cool. … She’s going to be rooting for me. It’s gonna be great. She already told me [during] second quarter and fourth quarter is when she’s on the visitor’s side, so I’ll have to sneak her a couple smiles.

York told reporters

After the game, York and Dale shared a picture perfect kiss on the sidelines.

The Cowboys cheerleader is in the golden time of her life with personal and professional joys

In addition to her recent wedding bliss, Zoe Dale is truly in the golden years of her life. Now in her second year with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the 22-year-old is already seeing pieces of her 10-year vision come to life. She once envisioned herself married to her best friend, starting a family, and taking part in mission trips to share her faith. With her recent marriage to NFL kicker Cade York, that vision is already partly becoming a reality.

Since her engagement in March, there have been some good updates in her life. In mid-May, Dale graduated from Kilgore College, University of North Texas, in a ceremony attended by Cade York and her nearest family.

Furthermore, Zoe Dale and the rest of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) will see a massive 400% pay raise starting from next year, one of the most significant in the squad’s history. The news was revealed in Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts, where veteran cheerleader Megan McElaney confirmed the long-awaited compensation increase.

Previously earning as little as $15/hour for practice and $100–$500 per appearance, veterans are now expected to make up to $60/hour, with annual earnings reported around $150,000. Despite the absence of health benefits, the boost in pay is not less than a team that has long fought for better treatment.
