The Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants’ rivalry dates back to the 1960s. In 125 games, the Cowboys have reigned supreme for the most part, winning 76 games so far after the recent matchup.
The Cowboys and the Giants have shared the upper hand from time to time – the Cowboys are currently ahead of the New York-based team by winning the last seven games, including the Thursday game.
The NFC East division rivals are met for the first time in the current season. The TNF has also brought in much attention due to an ongoing feud between Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers.
The feud has been developing for some time now. It all started when a compliment was misconstrued as a hit and later developed into a small trash talk over social media. However, it had waned in comparison as opposed to when it all began, with Nabers choosing to focus on the game.
The Giants lost the game in a low-scoring match at their home yesterday to the Cowboys. The Giants were restricted to five field goals by Greg Joseph by an impeccable Dallas defense in a game where Dak Prescott shined.
Nabers, who was playing in his fourth game of his career, later suffered a concussion amid the game. Nevertheless, he made quite an impression with his athletic ability, which led his idol Odell Beckham Jr and Diggs to praise the young star.
Trevon Diggs had only positive things to say about Malik Nabers 🙌

Nabers has turned out to be the biggest weapon in the Giants offense. He stretched the field for the Giants with the concussion injury in the fourth quarter, which took him out being the only thing that could stop them. He racked up 115 receiving yards on 12 catches and 15 targets.
Amazon Studios under fire after ‘classless act’ amid Trevon Diggs walk-off field
Apart from Malik Nabers, the Cowboys also lost a couple of their defensive players to injury during the game. Micah Parsons was seen walking out with a calf injury minutes after Trevon Diggs took a massive hit. Diggs had cramps and couldn’t continue playing.
Replay of graphics of an injured player is common. However, Amazon Prime, having the broadcast rights for the TNF, decided to pan the screen to Aaiden Diggs, son of Trevon Diggs, who looked concerned for his dad. It could have been just cramping on the field, but to Aaiden, he didn’t know why his dad was walking off the field.
Not a fan of them cutting to Aaiden Diggs after his dad goes down with an injury, not appropriate.

The broadcasters have since come under fire for such an immoral and classless act to gain more TRP. The fans have been riled up with how quickly the camera moved to Aaiden as if they were prepared to do so. The Amazon Studios haven’t commented on the same.
