[Watch] – Rashid Khan delighted as Virat Kohli gifts him his bat ahead of RCB’s crucial tie against GT

Rashid Khan took to Instagram last night to post a video of Virat Kohli gifting the spinner one of his bats. It was at the the training ground where the the two players met and the former India captain gifted Rashid Khan his bat. The two players will face-off tonight as RCB play against the Gujrat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium at 7:30 pm.

Rashid Khan uploaded the video on Instagram with the caption, ‘Always a pleasure meeting you @virat.kohli ❤️, Thank you for the gift ?’ With the IPL being held only in one city, all teams have practiced in same grounds and been brought much closer than before. Earlier on in the season, Virat Kohli was also seen meeting the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings camps before RCB’s games against these teams.

RCB’s game could decide their fate as well as of other teams in IPL

While GT have booked a place for the play-offs of IPL 2022, RCB are still yet to qualify. With 16 points and a negative Net Run Rate, Royal Challengers Bangalore need a huge win to stay in contention and provisionally take up the 4th spot ahead of Delhi Capitals. A win for RCB would also directly eliminate SRH and Punjab Kings from the Play-offs. However, before the crunch clash, fans were treated with some heartfelt videos as the two camps met together one last time before their match.

While Gujrat have qualified, tonight’s game is a do-or-die for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Faf du Plessis led team need a victory to make it to 16 points and remain in contention for a 4th or possibly 3rd spot. However, with a negative run rate, RCB could lose their place to Delhi Capitals if they manage to win their last game and make it to 16 points as well.
