WATCH: Avesh Khan nails a yorker to put an end to Hardik Pandya’s innings

Mumbai Indians are currently playing a do-or-die match against Delhi Capitals at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The defending champions didn’t enjoy an ideal run with the willow in the game courtesy of Axar Patel and Avesh Khan. The two bowlers bowled magic on the field as their heroics restricted the Indians to a below-par score of 129 runs in their 20 overs.

One of the highlights of the match was Axar bowling a searing yorker to power-hitter Hardik Pandya to uproot the stumps. MI were hoping for a mind-boggling innings from Hardik as the team were reeling at a score of 109 for five at the end of 18 overs. Hardik and Krunal Pandya were there in the middle at a score of 17 and 6 runs respectively.

The first ball of the 19th over saw a mesmerizing delivery by Avesh Khan that managed to put an end to Hardik’s innings. Avesh, who was in a brilliant form with the willow, nailed a yorker as the ball tailed back in to nutmeg the younger Pandya and destroy the stumps.
