Lucknow Super Giants’ Ayush Badoni was seen celebrating like Virat Kohli after scoring runs against Delhi Capitals.

After the win over Delhi Capitals, the video of the Delhi boy Badoni’s celebration after scoring runs has stormed the internet. In his celebration, he was pointing out his name at the back of his jersey and after that came up with a fist bump. Fans started sharing the video because they can still remember Virat Kohli also used to celebrate like this in the past.

Chasing a modest 150 run target, LSG’s openers KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock didn’t fail to give a good start as they stood together for a 70-run partnership. But after some quick wickets, Badoni appeared and by whacking a four and a six off Shardul Thakur, helped Lucknow steal the match.

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul was surprised by Badoni’s knock. In the post-match presentation, Rahul lauded the youngster.

“He (Badoni) has held his nerve every time he has gone into bat and he’s delivered for us under pressure. Great learning for him, important for him to keep working hard and stay humble. Been a complete team effort so far. The way everyone has stepped up has been brilliant,” Rahul said.

“He’s baby AB. He has been phenomenal from the first day. For a little boy he packs a punch and plays 360 degrees, so happy for him as he grabbed the opportunity. It was not ideal for him to walk out with us four down but he did well under pressure and hopefully he can continue doing that,” Rahul added.

LSG’s new find, the 22-year-old Ayush Badoni, has impressed everyone with his batting and in LSG’s three match, Badoni has played a crucial knock. On his debut match against the Gujarat Titans, Ayush Badoni scored a brilliant 54 off 41 balls. And in the next match, he played a crucial role when the Ravindra Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings gave a big target.

Lucknow has played four matches and won the three; with this they are placed second on the points table. They will face Rajasthan Royals on Sunday.
