According to reports, LSG tried to recruit Taskin Ahmed but the BCB has not given him the NOC due to a large amount of upcoming international cricket matches.

According to BCB chairman Jalal Yunus, officials have spoken with Taskin Ahmed and the cricketer has already informed LSG about his inability to participate this year in the IPL.

“Our focus is on two important series, including the ongoing South Africa tour and the upcoming series against India, so we feel it would be inappropriate for him to participate in the IPL. After speaking with Taskin, he understood the whole scenario. He informed the franchise that he would not be playing in the IPL and that he would be available for the South Africa tour and later return home,” he said while speaking to the reporters according to Cricbuzz.
