“Golden Duck” – Twitter goes berserk as Trent Boult Takes Down KL Rahul With A Ripping Inswinger, video goes viral

Trent Boult of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) was on target from the first ball, dismissing KL Rahul of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for his second golden duck of the IPL 2022 season.

RR batted first and set a target of 166 for the LSG team. At the halfway point, it appeared impossible, but Shimron Hetmyer and Ravichandran Ashwin put on an excellent partnership for the fifth wicket before the latter tactically retired hurt.

LSG needed a strong start to chase down the total, but they were jolted by the first ball of the innings. Trent Boult, known for his new ball swinging prowess, brought one back into KL Rahul, who failed to account for the movement.

KL Rahul’s inswinger has long been a weakness, and Boult exploited it to perfection. It’s also Rahul’s second golden duck of the season, having been caught on the first ball against Gujarat Titans.
