CSK players take part in team bonding exercise by building structures with bricks and cement

CSK
Cricket is a team sport that requires every team player to function together as a unit. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) did an exercise to strengthen their team by building structures with bricks and cement on Tuesday, March 29 in their hotel in Mumbai.
CSK shared a video where the players were seen taking part in a team-building exercise, but they were actually constructing something. Prominent players like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa and skipper Ravindra Jadeja, along with support staff members were involved in cementing bricks with tools as well as their hands to build structures. The video starts with head coach Stephen Fleming saying “In coaching, team building is very important, so we are doing team building”. Bravo was having fun as he marked the bricks with “No. 1”.

“I am getting a little nervous about CSK”, Matthew Hayden

The first match of the 15th edition of IPL was disappointing for the CSK team as they were easily defeated in the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets. But former captain MS Dhoni silenced his critics by slamming a half-century after two years. He smashed seven fours and a six to complete his 50 off 38 balls. With the help of Dhoni, Jadeja (26 no out) and Uthappa (28), CSK were able to manage 131 for five.
Former Australian and CSK opener Matthew Hayden expressed that he was not impressed by Jadeja’s nervous captaincy.
He told Star Sports: “Even the nervousness they felt with Rav (Ravindra Jadeja) as captain it was so unlike CSK in many ways. I am getting a little nervous about CSK. They have got a new captain, a completely different outfit, some old heads there but there’s also a lot to prove. Also, there’s a lot to make up, especially after the opening night’s performance“.
