CSK
On Wednesday, March 23, defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) revealed their jersey for the upcoming 15th edition of Indian Premier League 2022.
CSK franchise ended the waiting period of their fans after sharing the jersey unveil video on their social media accounts, just three days before the start of their campaign. This year, the 4-time-champion is in partnership with the TVS Eurogrip. In the video star captain MS Dhoni, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad could be seen flaunting the new jersey.
Apart from minor changes, the jersey remains the same as the old one, just like their team members. In the mega-auction, the franchise have hardly done much changes as they bring back their core players from the last IPL squad.

CSK have to deal with problems in the beginning matches

CSK has been one of the most successful teams in the cash-rich league. They were able to qualify for the most number of playoffs in the IPL history. They also top the list of playing the most number of finals. Dhoni’s team are just behind Mumbai Indians, which tops the list with 5 trophies.
The Southern Giants will start their campaign against the 2021 runner-up Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The two teams have played in the finals last year. Pacer Deepak Chahar, who was brought in for a massive sum of Rs. 14 crores, will be unavailable for the first few weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury. Batsman Moeen Ali’s situation is confusing as he won’t be accessible due to visa issues. It’s a tough challenge for the franchise to come up with a proficient playing X|.
All the eyes will be on Chennai’s captain and cult hero Dhoni this year because of his being rather inconsistent over the last two years. Also, he hasn’t played any competitive sports since IPL 2021. Last year, he contributed only 114 runs in 16 matches.
