Ziva was spotted praying for CSK in the match against DC

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) witnessed yet another thriller during match 50 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday. However, apart from the on-field action, one thing that stole the action came straight from the stands where the players’ family members were supporting and cheering for both sides.

Meanwhile, CSK skipper MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva’s cute picture stole the headlines when she was seen praying for her father’s team’s win at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. MSD’s wife Sakshi was also spotted in the frame, supporting the ‘Yellow Army’. The duo has been spotted many times in the stadium to show their love for the former India skipper and his team.

Before this game, Ziva was also seen blowing a whistle to support CSK during their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the second league of the tournament.

Coming to the result of the game, Rishabh Pant and his men clinched a thriller in the ultimate over of the game. Batting first, the Super Kings posted a total of 135-5 on the board at the end of their 20 overs on a difficult batting track. DC’s bowlers continued with their impressive performances in the ongoing league.

In reply, CSK always kept themselves in the game with wickets at regular intervals. However, they didn’t have many runs to defend as Shimron Hetmyer (28*) stayed till the end to take his side home.

“We were looking to get closer to 150. After we lost a few wickets, around the 15-16th over mark the platform was nice. We failed to accelerate. I thought it was a tough pitch. Anything close to 150 would’ve been a good score. It’s a two-paced wicket. It’s not like it slowed down drastically. Can’t just play your shots,” Dhoni said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
