My friends and I were thrilled to meet Sachin and get his autograph. I am a huge fan, he is truly a legend.
Radcliffe told the Times of India in 2011
I wanted to visit India during the Cricket World Cup but got so caught up with my Broadway musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, that it left me with no time. But cricket or no cricket, I am certainly planning a trip to India soon.
Radcliffe added

The British actor also said that he had heard and read a lot about India, especially from the book Midnight’s Children, written by Salman Rushdie, the Indian-British novelist. Radcliffe then added that Indians are huge cricket fans just like him.

I think people have an image of film stars that we're all very cool, and I'm not- I am a geek. I'm obsessed with cricket, I'm happy in my own company.
