Donavon Ferreira is a South African right-handed batting all-rounder who plays for the Titans in the domestic cricket. He hasn’t made his debut for the national side yet. But the wicketkeeper-batter has been quite in good form in the recent matches of the domestic season.

In the domestic circuit, Ferreira has represented the Easterns and now plays for the Titans. He also played under the Northern Under-15s squad. In the Mzansi Super League, he played for the Tshwane Spartans.

Joburg Super Kings signed him for Rand 5.5 million (USD 310,000 approx) for the SA20  league in 2023. While for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction, he registered himself for a base price of INR 20 lakhs. His strike rate of above 150 in the shortest format can attract the franchises in the auction.

Ferreira made his first-class debut for the Easterns against Free State at Bloemfontein in February 2021. He has amassed 223 runs in just two first-class matches with one ton and the same number of half-century, with the highest being 125.

In List A cricket, he debuted for the Northerns against West Province at Cape Town on October 19, 2019. In the List A matches, Ferreira has scored 308 runs from a total of 15 matches at a strike rate of 129.69. He has two half-centuries, with the highest being an unbeaten 96 runs.

Talking about his T20 career, his debut match for the Northerns came against Free State at Oudtshoorn on September 14, 2018. He played 26 matches and scored 539 runs; his highest score was an unbeaten 60 runs. He has two fifties and bats at a strike rate of 153.56.

In the CSA T20 Challenge 2022-23, he represented the runners-up team, Titans. While in the 2021-22 CSA One-Day Cup, he played for the same team when it lost the final against the Lions.
