“This is the best jersey we ever had” – RCB fans happy with new jersey ahead of IPL 2022
On Saturday, March 12, RCB unveiled their new jersey for the 15th edition of IPL 2022. The colour scheme of the jersey remains the same with the mixture of red and black. But the design around the chest area has changed.
There is another change, not on the jersey, but Royal Challengers Bangalore has appointed former South African captain Faf du Plessis to lead their players. It’s going to be du Plessis’ first season with the franchise too. The Challengers bought him for Rs. 7 crores at the mega-auction in Bengaluru. He previously was with the Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiants. Virat Kohli has stepped down from captaincy after the last year’s IPL season.
