Glenn Maxwell marries girlfriend Vini Raman, fans shower their blessings to the newly-wed

The Australian star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell tied-knots with his Indian-origin and long-time girlfriend Vini Raman in a private ceremony on March 18, 2022.
The 33-year-old Glenn Maxwell shared an Instagram story with Vini where the couple were seen holding hands with rings in their fingers. Vini announced the same on her official Instagram handle. Last month a picture of their wedding card which was written in Tamil, went viral on the Internet.
“Love is a search for completion and with you I feel complete 18.3.222,” Raman captioned the photo. She also used the heart, bride and groom emojis. Later another post was shared by Raman where the couple was seen kissing each other and captioned it, “Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell 18.03.22.” to confirm that they are now husband and wife.

Soon after, Aaron Finch, Yuzvendra Chahal and other cricketers and fans showered their wishes to the couple.
In 2019, Maxwell was spotted with Vini at Australian Cricket Awards. The couple have been dating for many years and they had announced their engagement on Instagram in February 2020. Vini is a pharmacist and belongs to a Tamil family.
Because of his wedding, he pulled himself out of Australia’s tour of Pakistan. Australia will play three ODIs and a T20I game against Pakistan. He was last seen during Australia’s T20I series against Sri Lanka, where the right-hander scored 138 runs at an average of 34.50.
He will be seen with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming season of IPL. The franchise acquired him for Rs. 11 crores. RCB will play their first game against Punjab Kings on Sunday, March 27. In his IPL career, he appeared in 97 matches and scored over 2000 runs at an intimidating strike rate of 151.84. He was also the leading run-scorer with 513 runs for the RCB in 2021.
