India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma is fetching a lot of limelight on social media. Recently, a picture of Rohit’s doppelganger went viral and is causing a lot of buzz. The picture was posted by a Pakistani fan and in the snap, the lookalike of the Indian cricketer can be seen sitting on a bench while drinking what is presumably juice.

The man in the picture resembles the Mumbai Indians skipper a lot and the same has become the focal point of the discussion among the fans. Needless to say, the doppelganger has also caused a meme fest on Twitter with the fans using their creative minds to come with up unique yet hilarious memes.

India’s veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh also joined the bandwagon as he took a friendly jibe at his former teammate. Sharing a collage of Rohit and his lookalike, Harbhajan asked the veteran to call him also for tea someday. “Kabhi chai pe hame bi bulao shaana,” Harbhajan wrote.

Notably, Harbhajan and Rohit are good friends as the two veterans have played alongside each other for a long time. The two stars also shared the dressing room during the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they plied their trade for Mumbai Indians. 

The spinner donned the blue and gold jersey in the T20 extravaganza from 2008 to 2017. Rohit, on the other hand, become part of the Mumbai family in 2011 and went on to lead the franchise in 2013. The 34-year-old has been spectacular as the skipper for the Indians as under him the team has won five times in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
