Hardik Pandya is having a fantastic game against Rajasthan Royals in the 24th match of the IPL 2022. Pandya demonstrated commendable captaincy skills after scoring a brilliant fifty with the bat (87* off 52 balls) by making the appropriate field placements and bowling changes. He also displayed exceptional athleticism by outrunning his opponent in the game, Sanju Samson. Pandya put in a great fielding effort and hit a direct hit to send Sanju Samson back.

Pandya hit the bullseye to find Samson short of the white line in the eighth over of the RR innings. Ferguson bowled a full ball with blistering pace on the third delivery of the over (150.4 kph). Samson drove the ball easily to the mid-off fielder and attempted a quick single. However, the Gujarat captain’s effort was spot on, as he picked the ball and threw it to rattle the stumps.

Hardik Pandya’s throw was so powerful that it split the stump in two. The middle stump had broken into pieces and had to be replaced.
