A funny situation developed during one of the MCA All Star T10 Bash Games when an opposition batter took an incorrect stance, causing a field change. The match was played between Royal Warriors and KL Star CC in Malaysia, where Warriors batter, Harinder Sekhon, was witnessed taking a unique stance.

In spite of Harinder Sekhon being a right-handed batter, he initially took the stance of left-handed batsmen. Seeing this, the KL Star CC positioned their fielders accordingly, with two fielders quickly running towards the off-side. Just then, Sekhon changed his stance to that of a right-hander, causing the field to take a U-turn. The two fielders who had earlier been standing for a left-hand batter position now had to move back to their original positions.

“Never seen anything like this before in all his years of cricket”: Harinder Sekhon reacts on the his changing stance incident

The incident came to light ahead of the final delivery of the third over in the Warriors’ innings. Having seen a wicket fall, No.3 batter Harinder Sekhon arrived at the crease and took a unique stance, where although he marked his guard like a left-hander, the batter eventually positioned himself into a right-hander to face the delivery. This incident in the MCA All Star T10 Bash puzzled the keeper, the umpire and the bowler, who were completely outplayed by the Sekhon’s distinctive tactic.

Moreover, the clip of the incident was shared by none other than Sekhon himself on Twitter, describing the incident as something he had not witnessed “before in all his years of cricket.”

It took some time before fans realized that Sekhon was the batter, who was involved in the video. Sekhon’s attempt at the crease went viral on social media, attracting funny comments from cricket fans all over the world. He went on to score 56 runs in the match and continued his good form.
