Harshal Patel has been a star performer for RCB for a couple of seasons. He was also the purple cap holder in 2021. He has played eight T20Is after his debut last year. In mid-innings chat with Star Sports during the match, Harshal had discussed about the pitch and his bowling.

“I will definitely take seven (runs) off an over at the death, especially against a quality batter like Surya. The balls were drifting in the air and that is why they came out the way they did, made them a bit more effective.” Said Harshal Patel in mid-innings chat with broadcasters Star Sports.

“The wicket is getting better and the score doesn’t look too much. We just need to play well in the powerplay and not lose early wickets. There is no dew as of now because there is a bit of strong breeze blowing across the ground. I don’t suspect there will be a lot of dew.”

Meanwhile, in the match between RCB and MI, MI were in a pathetic situation after they lost 5 wickets quickly but Suryakumar Yadav’s 68 off 37 runs helped MI to score a modest 151/6.

RCB responded with Anuj Rawat’s 66 and Virat Kohli’s 48 helped the team win the match and became a reason for Mumbai’s fourth successive defeat.
