The Boxing Day Test match between India and South Africa is currently underway at the SuperSport Park, Centurion. Star opener and vice-captain for the ongoing Test series against South Africa, KL Rahul smashed yet another century to continue with his dream form in red-ball cricket.

Earlier, the visiting team’s skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first to put runs on the board. However, this decision could turn out against them as the pitch was offering some movement for the fast bowlers in the initial overs. However, the opening pair of Rahul and Mayank Agarwal tackled the conditions well to pile up a massive partnership of 117 runs before the latter got out for 60.

On the other hand, the second Karnataka batter went on to complete his seventh Test century and first in South Africa. With this hard-fought knock, he also became the first Indian opening batter to smash a ton in England (twice), Australia and South Africa. His inning became even more special as he brought the 100th run with the help of a glorious boundary on the fifth ball of the 78th over against the spinner Keshav Maharaj.
