Team India, the champions of the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup have already begun their campaign with a bang at the ongoing edition of the tournament. The Virat Kohli-led side registered an outstanding victory against one of the strongest line-ups – England in the warm-up match on Monday.
The Asian Giants have a really strong chance of lifting the cup, owing to a star-studded 15-member squad. Moreover, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have the sharp brain of former India skipper MS Dhoni in the dugout as the mentor of the side.
Apart from the 15 players in the main squad, India has three players as reserves while heading towards the tournament. Also, the team selectors made a change after announcing the team as Shardul Thakur came in place of Axar Patel right before the start of the much-anticipated ICC event.
