IPL 2021: WATCH – AB de Villiers’ son punches his hand on chair in disappointment after his father gets out; hurts himself
ABD's family showcased their emotions on the Proteas cricketer' dismissal
The worrisome continues for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter AB de Villiers as he got out for yet another low score in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The 37-year-old could only manage to add 11 runs in the team’s total during match 39 against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday.
This time ace speedster Jasprit Bumrah of the opponent team got the better of Mr 360 as he was caught behind the wickets while Quinton de Kock completed a regulation catch. De Villiers’ family was also present in the stands when this incident took place in Dubai.
Seeing this, ABD’s wife Danielle de Villiers looked quite shocked as his husband was walking back to the pavilion. On the other hand, their son was in sheer disappointment as he smashed his hand on the chair in the row ahead of him and ended up hurting himself.

Mammoth victory for RCB; retains third spot in Points Table
Coming to the result of the game, the Challengers posted a competitive total of 165/6 on the board at the end of their 20 overs. RCB skipper Virat Kohli (51) and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell (56) smashed terrific half-centuries.
In reply, Mumbai Indians were off to a great start as their openers Rohit Sharma (43) and QDK (24) stitched a decent partnership of 57 runs. However, no other MI batter was able to touch the two-digit run-mark and this resulted in a one-sided win for RCB by 54 runs.
Most of the RCB bowlers produced outstanding spells while Harshal Patel even went on to claim the maiden hat-trick of IPL 2021. Yuzvendra Chahal also bowled a sensational spell of 4-1-11-3 in the game.
